| Music used in theatrical trailers does not necessarily appear in the actual film, and rarely on the soundtrack. More often than not, it's just stock music the studio owns the rights to, which it uses to promote its films in previews.
In the case of The Two Towers, the trailer music is mostly done by the Kronos Quartet (as has been mentioned).
