| Im more concerned about playability than looks honestly. If it is the best looking game in the world wtf does it matter if you cant have a group without your fps going down to 5. A mmo is going to look worse than standard games, all successful MMOs are proof to that. If they aim for a mmo being hyper pretty and shit their gonna make a game that is near unplayable. That being said, I think Vanguard is shaping up to look pretty damn good for a mmo. I'm not gonna judge any of the games till I get into the betas or get to play a friends account (dont tell!). I've bought too many mmos off the shelf which blow balls for me to buy any more before trying them. I really hope all of these games have an open beta so I can try them each, because I'm not paying for them until I know its something I can get into.
Warhammer, aoc, and vanguard all show some nice potential, and I think all of them have graphics that are coming to an acceptable level. I hope warhammer at least offers more char customization than wow, I like good variety. Call me old fashioned, but whats going to be the deciding factor for me is which game I find more fun. Graphics != Fun. I hope all these games offer an open beta so I can see that they are well made before I purchase them, and I plan on staying with the game that brings me the most joy. |
