Well I just read that camel spiders have no venom, so I doubt it's using venom. I would have guessed that anyway by the size of its jaws. Animals don't develop massive crushing tools and then use venom to kill their prey (ie: boa constrictor). Generally it's one or the other. The only animals I can think of right now that use both are very large scorpions, like an emperor scorpion, which generally don't use their stingers unless the prey is as large or larger than themselves. An emperor scorpion pretty much just cruches everything with its giant pincers.
