| as far as great stories goes, the current daredevil series is great (volume 2). the wolverine (vol. 3) and punisher (vol 5) are both very good as well. the common theme between these 3...all of the storylines are very mature. hard to go back and read the stuff from the early 90s after reading these comics.
someone mentioned the ultimate universe and will second that. ultimates and ultimates 2 are great. there is a series out, ultimate wolverine vs hulk that has promise, but is taking forever to release new issues.
