| I quit WoW just the other day (sharded my gear so im not going back) after tiring from having to be on to raid six nights a week in BWL/AQ40/Naxx, as well as helping in MC, ZG, AQ20 on offtime.
I started reading this thread about EVE and was completely lost about 20 pages in, but mesmerized by the game. I also realized that the thread has been around for a few months, so I was wondering what the situation of the game was like now.
As for me, im looking for a game I can get into but dont have to commit to certain times every day. The aspect of improving while you are offline appealed to me because my schedule is always changing in college. I know I have alot ahead of me if I pick up the game, but im a smart guy and will use whatever resources I can find. I will pick one route and persue it and expand from there.
Communities in games can rapidly change, so I wanted to know if it will still be fun to start out at this point in time past the game's release.
