If you look a little further into the chart you copy/pasted from the BOB killboard you'll see that of those almost 1500 kills on GoonSwarm, about 1300 have been capsule, shuttle, frigate, noobie ship. Two complex runs could fuel those kinds of losses for a year.

That's not to say we haven't lost other ships because we obviously have. It's hardly going to break either alliances banks.

Edit: We also just got out of a month+ long campaign with D2 and there are quite a few people taking break from the game or from their mains. This is why it appears we aren't even fighting back, because we aren't. I plan to only log in to change skills this week and then jump back in. It's much to early to speculat eon how things will turn out.
