In EVE it is not a smart idea to piss any of the mega-alliances on so personal level, even if its done in your average mmorpg. I'm interested to see how goonswarm can deal with BoB fleets. Four wolfpacks of 60-70 pilots in each flying almost perfect fitting harmony and endless supply of HAC's and Recons are pain in the arse for t1 frigate and t1 BS fleet that goons use.

Doubtful.. goons won't roll over that easy. They may get pushed back to syndicate temporarily.. but they are driven. Not to mention dismantling a 2400+ member alliance is no walk in the park, someone may see this as a oppurtune moment to go after BoB from it's back side.. and theres a long list of people looking for the right moment to go after Bob.
Goons are all recruited under one mentality, they only know one group of people.. their loyalty runs much much deeper than your average eve player. Most alliances you have to worry about people jumping ship when shit gets bad, I don't think the goonies will ever have that problem unless Remedial abandons them.
