At the current XP curves, I believe it'll take the same amount of time to level to 70 from 60 as it took to go from 1 to 54.

That said - do you really want to be wearing tier 3 gear at 70? What does that say about the content if pre-expansion stuff is still top notch? You really want to trivialize and/or not need the majority of the content in the game at that point just to satisfy your e-peen?

I'd wager there will be some new types of stats on gear as well as some monkeying with the item formula in order to make xpac gear the best gear.
