| Anything with John Wayne or Clint Eastwood is a safe bet. As others said, Open Range is actually really good, first movie I can remember where Kevin Costner isn't playing the role of "Kevin Costner".
Geronimo is a pretty decent western as well, Robert Duvall is in that one as well as Gene Hackman. I didn't like Dances with Wolves, personal preference I guess.
