They've been developing a new TFC for a while now. They're planning a beta release in just a couple of weeks.
Anyone remember Quake 1 TF, where it all started? THAT was good times. Remember the portal vote maps? A bunch of doorways were open, and whichever doorway most people went through, you played that map.
Quake 1 TF had so many great maps. You had all the popular maps Half Life has now, plus fun novelty ones like Civsaw, and the one where you had to stop the Mexican immigrants from crossing to the other side of the map.
