Is Nigga really a prejudicial word anymore? As hard as it is to believe there was a time when the word "Humbug" was so horrible it was never uttered. Now it's so stupid people don't even care when it's said. Regardless of historical definitions language is constantly being changed.
Faggot was a term originating from the Salem which trials, and how they'd bind homosexuals and use them as kindling for the fires like a bundle of sticks or Faggot. Do you really think people playing World of Warcraft have a sense of history when it comes to using Faggot as an insult? Does the insult have that deep of a meaning or is it simply reduced to the same twelve year old bantering of calling someone a "dooty-head?"
And why the hell do you care? If you're some champion of human rights shouldn't your energies be focused else where? or are you upset because you believe these words have some sort of archaic power over the opinions of people. I'm honestly curious why these words offend.
