| Splitpaw might not be all that anymore, especially since they nerfed Harclave. Didn't like bloodline chronicles either, but I didn't spend much time there.
Definatly pick up KoS at 20 for the AA exp. Personally I'd also get the new Fallen Dynasty AP - although it's 55+ you have both the freeport and qeynos broker next to each other. They both charge black market prices, but it couldn't be easier to check on what the other side has for sale - safed a fortune already, inquisitor spells selling for 10g with black market fee instead of 30g with normal comission. The black market comission is 40%, normal broker 20% - so just divide the black market value by 140 and multiply by 120 to check if it'd be cheaper buying from your own kind market.
One tip on how to make money: go after the ?s. Those collection things sell for a fortune, especially the ones from low level zones. No one goes there anymore, but people still want the AA exp from completing them. Make sure you all finish it first though, AA exp > money.
Desert of Flames you should get at level 50, because at that point you're still too low to do KoS well - plus the AA discovery exp is priceless.
