I agree about the gear not meaning much. I seriously went from 15 - 32 or so with gear with no stats. As a necro, I was still soloing amazingly well. Once I finally bought some gear and got some nice drops/quest rewards...it didn't change a thing. I went from having all but maybe two or three of my gear slots being items with no stats, to full stat items and it did nothing =x

I want to be excited about getting an upgrade. Maybe that has something to do with why people start the game and get bored. They don't feel the drive to discover new gear and go to new dungeons because it doesn't matter as long as they just level up. Hmm.
