| AO was good in the day, until they started telling you how to play (i.e. labeling everything that doesn't conform to their vision an exploit.)
But they really missed the boat. Originally the game was supposed to be a side v side war of epic proportions, guided with GMs and complete with an adaptable story skeleton spanning 4 years. That + a scifi universe was extremly appealing during EQ's time
That all got trashed (in addition to a ton of other game design concepts) and game became a pure PvE grind. I wouldn't recommend picking the game up anymore.
