Not just for dick stroking, but because it's fun to steamroll and win. "Challenge" in pvp normally translates into stalemate or lots of ganking / 2 shotting on both sides. THAT is what is unfun. Fun isn't "kill the mage, die to the rogue, kill the priest, die to the mage, kill the warrior, die to the other warrior .." etc. Fun is "holy shit lol did you see how fast that nub died!?"
