Is it actually a mocking type of movie, though? I thought it was meant to be taken seriously.

And yeah, Dillon got pretty rave reviews from Tarantino for it even, and I believe he bought the American distribution rights he was so impressed. Too bad he's strung out half the time, otherwise the Headstones might not have broken up and he may have had half a chance of making a go of being an actor.
