| A girl I know is crazy about the band. I'm the type of guy who if someone can be completely infatuated with a band, will check that band out to see what someone else sees in them. So basically I've been borrowing her CD's lately and getting hooked a bit. Are you sure that "I know it's over" is a smith tune and not one he wrote after he went solo? I remember it being on her greatest hits cd of his solo stuff. Maybe he just still performs it, but I know it was on his solo cd.
I think they are pretty good. but I think morrisey really is gay or bi. It's not just the lyrics, I went and did a lil internet research. On some of the fan sites they have Q&A's and someone once asked him "are you gay?". He replied something to the extent "I'm so tired of people labeling everyone's sexual preference. Everyone has the same needs and wants. " That's not accurate at all, I'm working off memory. But basically he avoided answering the question which doesn't make much sense if he's not gay or at least bi (which is what I think). |
