The Blueprint was nothing compared to Reasonable Doubt, his albums are going downhill fast cause his material is getting thin. I do not want to hear him telling me how great Roc-a-Fella is on every song, or how much name brand shit he owns. I could give a shit less, come up with something to rhyme about. The Blueprint 2, well first CD is ass, and the 2nd one sounds better so far but I haven't got all the way through it yet.
His song on the 8-maile sound track was horrid, just listining to the hook makes we want to vomit. Jay-Z's ego has gotten bigger than his lips, it's clearly on display there.
Ether's disses were more accurate, Eminem did destroy Jay on his own song. Even Jay-z admits to biting Nas's material, and how many times do you hear Jay spit out one of Biggie's lines? Let's not even bring up his beef with Ruff Ryders. Nas is a better artist than Jay-z for 2 reasons, more origional material, and coming out with a style that nearly every rapper since Illmatic has stolen something from.
Ruff Ryders > Roc-a-fella any day...its not even close. |
