Well, the angle the photo was taken from and the lighting in the room create partial blind spots in the photo. Unfortunately the placement of these blind spots are in a way of which detracts the viewer's attention away from what was intended to be the artist's main focal point. This is, of course, the anal penetration.
In regards to the actual drawing though, the lion is amazingly accurately depicted.
