Simple question. If I make it, will you use it?
The basic idea is that there's a forum for each wow server. These forums are moderated by the community of each server. Server moderators will at first be elected by myself, then with polls later. Each specific server forum can be accessed by the subdomain of it's name IE:
http://hyjal.wowserverforums.com or
http://black-dragonflight.wowserverforums.com.
All US and international servers would be present.
You can see the concept at
http://www.ddoservers.com/forums and
http://www.vanguardservers.com/forums
An example of a server subdomain link is
http://adar.ddoservers.com
The community moderators for each server will be able to fully customize the forums, forum rules, appearance, etc for their server. Each server will be required to have at least 1 forum where anybody that has registered can post.
Why switch? I don't know. I'm just willing to set it up if it sounds useful.
Let me know what you think. I understand the hosting implications of this and I have the hardware and network infrastructure in place for it to expand. If the poll goes well, I'll set it up and migrate the fohguild.org user database over to it so that people don't have to re-register if they don't want to. You don't need to be registered or logged in to vote on this poll.
