| I'd agree with you Gryphe when it came to the first 3 seasons of FG, but as soon as the new ones were released the first thing I noticed was that they incorporated more unique, clever humor, instead of flashbacking to an iconic, old sitcom in order to mish-mash the dialogue for some cheap laughs.
Although South Park varies more than most, the Simpsons is also pretty formulaic. The first segment is always some weird, off-the-wall situation that sets up the plot for the rest of the show. 95% of the time the first 7 minutes of any Simpsons episode has almost nothing to do with the rest of the story.
Oh and I would say my heirarchy goes Simpsons -> South Park -> Family Guy, so as not to confuse me with a fanboy. To be fair though, I should mention that I haven't watched any of the new Family Guys, aside from the first 5-6 since it has been back. |
