Amen! (to Liz also)
In BG, rogues who think I am their personal heal bitch get a smile, a coke and a 'have a nice day' sticker. Then I suggest Heavy Runecloth Bandages for cleanup.
In full wipes, jackasses who don't release but instead afk while a healer runs back don't get rezzed until their timer is up.
Warriors who think they can double-pull while I'm at half mana and still drinking get a rez and a repair bill. If they ask nicely and I may even rebuff fort.
As I've said before, I genuinely enjoy being a priest and I'm pretty darned good at it. However, being a priest does not mean being anyone's personal bitch. All of my healers get respect from the guild and anyone who doesn't respect the healers are shown the door. We know how hard it is to recruit and retain good priests (and druids/pallys) - no one is going to treat them like shit and speed up the burnout process.
When selecting to play a priest, no one clicked a button that said "heal bitch". We heal all the time and sometimes we miss a health bar or burst damage beats the cast timer. Don't get pissy and crabby and point the finger. Either get over it, find a new healer or play as if you won't get any heals in the BG.
ps. Hunters and Rogues are free-for-all teabag targets as always.
