Speakers aren't the problem....the box is. I bought a MTX Thunderform box for my regular cab S-10 - fits right behind the drivers seat, looks professional, and you don't lose any seat clicks if you want to adjust. Get one of the empty boxes and put your own sub(s) in it IMO. They have them pre loaded and with an internal amp, but they're crap.

My only further advice is to amp the component speakers. Running a sub at full power and doors/dash/etc. on the head unit is shit. Pure shit. Either get 2 amps or 1 amp with enough channels to run all of your equipment.

My system will never win any bass competitions, but I don't listen to rap music or anything like that so it sounds about as good as you can get in something as acoustically limited as a vehicle.
