| Kaspersky (AVG) and F-Secure (F-Prot) are the best around here. Norton and Network Associates (McAfee) sucks, unless you are in a professional environment (where you can remotely upgrade software version and virus definition on all of the workstations).
The main difference is that Kaspersky and F-Secure are security/research labs that make software, while NA and Norton are software companies that do some security.
