| It is a cult. But it's a mostly harmless cult (to others) and they tend to teach good values, which is why people aren't outrageously against it. I was told my friend had to meet with their "priest" to go over their finances and make sure they had donated enough to the church that year.
Of course...now we can start arguing that all religions are cults.
