You must understand that marraige is a long journey. During this voyage through human companionship certain forces can act upon the physical manifestation of your better half and cause a metamorphasis of sorts. Being similar in the way a catepillar transforms into a butterfly; Except in reverse. The beautifull and delicate creature you first came to love can, in time, become a grubby little meatsack that consumes everything that falls within lurching distance of it's mouth.
