Heh, I wish my day went half as well. Like most guys, I hate playing into the corporate scheming of Valentine's Day. Too bad women think with their fucking hearts. I also hate cards. Got something to say, fucking say it. You don't need a stupid picture and writing to get it done. Regardless, I hand-wrote her a card, thinking that would impress her. It didn't.

I decide to make her a nice dinner after I get home at 5 from a full day of work. 2 hours of making asparagus soup, and it tasted fucking good. If anyone has ever made asparagus soup, you know it's a fucking bitch. She does that "takes a spoon and lets the soup fall off slowly" thing, giving me that look you get often from 5-year olds when you serve them cauliflower or lima beans. She tried some and called it mush. After dinner she begrudges herself to watch Godfather Part 3, which was her idea in the first place. She gets bored, and in the middle of the movie just gets up and leaves to go buy some pie. I'm like "WTF?" and ask her as much when she gets back. She pulls one of those "If you don't know what's wrong, figure it out" shit that women love to do. I finally get it out of her, which I expected all along, she's mad at me because I didn't buy her flowers and chocolate. She would have liked something special.

Apparently flowers and chocolate > two hour dinner.
