Over the weekend i drove up to cleveland to catch sigur ros play. If youre into them and get a chance to go see them def do. They played in a theatre so there were assigned seats, i would have pref. a standing show but what can ya do. There string section (4 chics) opened as a different band, aminas, they played hotel service bells, glasses, saws and all sorts of crazy stuff, very good.

Sigur ros had a giant sheet/screen they used to show random images/lighting oddities. At points theyd spotlight them so each of the band members appeared to be 15 ft tall or so on the screen. Like any show it was much heavier live, 2 songs in particular reminded of some stuff on Those who tell the truth... from Explosions in the sky. They played for about an hour and 1/2 with 2 encores. Anyways thumbs up on the show, see em if you can.
