Its like that whole thread with ElvenWarrior9. You promise someone something great, like 10,000 HP or whatever, and their greed over comes them and they would happily give out their account information, for the chance they could have whatever fake upgrade they think they are getting.
Its like why rich business and big company owners actually fall for that Nigerian Bank scandal where they promise you 20% of like 100million US dollars if you assist them in importing their money, as long as you GIVE THEM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER. I actually know someone who lost about $300,000 in this scandal.
People still fall for it, shit, the Nigerians are even spam e-mailing this scam out now. People get greedy, and fuck up, and give out their private info.
It's like gambling. People go and loose EVERYTHING THEY HAVE in gambling, because they want to get rich for DOING NOTHING.
You have a better chance of going broke, than getting rich, so don't fuck around. Just earn your shit, don't be a cheater, and you hopefully won't get screwed over.
AND NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR ACCOUNT INFO (Back to EQ). When I played, people would always give me their account info, half the time I would refuse it because I didn't want to possibly be linked to anything.
