Well, one of the best things about Lost so far is that they've been absolutely brilliant at misdirection.

Every time you're *sure* you've figured something out, or even when the show seems to answer a question, the writers throw in a OMGWTF moment that flips everything on it's ear.

The writers have been really exceptional at sleight-of-hand... they'll lay out a storyline or flashback, sometimes even to the point of it being cliche, but then they have a huge reveal that smacks you upside the head.

The great part about it is that they don't only use this device for the "main" storyline... they use it in flashbacks, in minor mysteries and in character development too. (Can anyone say "WTF, Locke's in a WHEELCHAIR?!?!?" hehe)

I've been fascinated by how disciplined they've been about doling out pieces of each character's backstory, only bringing out new pieces exactly at the point it's needed to counterpoint a parallel story in "realtime" on the island.

Anyway, probably the best TV show I've ever watched, at least to this point. I was a bit disappointed with last week's "it's a big science experiment" reveal, but I'm hoping a lot of it is just going to be yet another red herring to keep us guessing.
