| Meh, Morrowind had "amazing" graphics for it's time as well. At least, amazing environmental graphics. Character models were pretty poor, their texturing was fucking atrocious, and their animation was pretty damn awful as well. Not to mention, that graphics run like a dog on even relatively modern hardware. And the gameplay was, from the few hours I spent on it, incredibly shallow. Let's see, I click the mouse button over and over and over again to attack. That's some awesome combat engine there guys. And that doesn't even begin to get into all the terrible game balance that allowed people, if they knew what they were doing, to finish the game in a matter of minutes.
Maybe they've learned their lesson and made a game with halfway decent play. But Morrowind was just a straight up shitty game. |
