| I agree completely
If a npc is not meant to be killed, make him unable to be killed. Do not punish players from killing them, prevent them from doing so. If the goal is actually to punish players for pvping outside of battlegrounds, the system works great.
The only possible explanation that I can think of is that the same fucking moron whose cock is hard about meeting stones happened to shit out this idea too. At the very VERY least, if you want to punish for dks, make it negate all HK gain over a certain period, or a certain amount of it. Perhaps have it prevent you from attaining any HKs for the next 15 minutes as punishment. The other option is to just roll with the system - If killing low level npcs lowers your pvp standing, hell why not make killing lower level players randomly remove peices of epic raid loot from your person.
Did sony have this problem? Some higher up has an awful idea and nobody is willing to correct it? I can't fathom why stuff like DKs, /lfg, debuff limits, etc take SOOOO fucking long to even be addressed and never fixed. At least the debuff limit is scheduled for an overhaul, maybe by 2007 I can /who and look for a healer for my pickup group, still hoping he doesnt can a civilian on the way to the instance. |
