Tiny market? What the fuck are you smoking?
Look at games like StarCraft, Neverwinter Nights, all Sim (The Sims, Sim City, Sim Theme Park, etc.) games, emulated MMOs... there are
many people who absolutely love playing games where they can be the guy in charge, or make their own content, or toy around with things like "If I make the coaster's rail too short, what then? *Kaboom*".
You have to be out of your mind to think that Spore won't sell incredibly well.
