OMG that drove me nuts too, Olegai. He was not 15 feet away, had a clear sight picture and the bad guy wasn't moving/had the blade far away from the girl's neck. I saw it with my boyfriend and he and I were both shouting, "What are you doing?? Just shoot him!!" It killed the drama of the scene worse than when nobody rushed to pick up Denzel Washington's dropped gun in John Q.
