But I meant underrated as in, they aren't as popular as they should be considering their talent. Sure, the real movie critics know how good they are, but the general public doesn't realize their talent. Like Xenox put it, Edward Norton is a great actor but he doesn't have big roles. He probably makes alot less per movie then say, Vin Diesel does now.
It's cause of this I didn't list Mel Gibson or Tom Cruise, they are big blockbusters and they should be. They deserve to be big stars, they are good actors (tho tom cruise's range isn't as great as the others i've listed, the roles he can play he pulls off perfectly imo.). I just wish I could look at the top 10 money making actors and say 'yes.. I think those are the best actors around right now'. |
