Regardless of how you do the math (and I won't get into what you should've learned in second grade about order of operations), this was a drastic change in warlock vs. mage PvP balance, and frankly, warlocks are already a pain in the ass to try to do well with in PvP due to not having much in the way of burst damage/instas.
