| The reason why some may not see a SP2 removal thing is because (and I am just guessing here) they didn't install it as a "pack". Instead the updates were just installed individually by Windows Update. That's all SP2 really is, just a whole shitload of security updates and a few new features bundled together.
If you were an early adopter and downloaded the whole pack as one download and installed it that way, then you'll see that option to remove it. Otherwise you'll just have to pick and choose which updates to remove individually, I guess. |
