| I ended up going with the inspiron 9200 from dell, saved like 400$ with a promotion they had this past week.
17" widescreen w/ dedicated graphics and 4 hour + battery life.
SLow hard drive and only 333mhz ram.. but its the price you pay I guess.
With upgrades (1.8ghz pm, upgraded screen, upgraded battery, some other minor crap)
I ended up paying 1600$ shipped. Not too shabby for what I got.
Doesnt leave them until 1/31 though ;\
