Not that I always agree with their picks, but can you honestly say you think all those above films are boring pieces of shit? Granted some of them are pieces of shit IMO (Titanic...), but a good chunk of those are action-oriented epics. |
The do redeem themselves with best pic winners.
However, expand to the nominees for best pic and the acting categories. You will see the same pattern. The pattern is that they cater to dramas and sadly neglect comedies and action. I would just like to see them be inclusive and honor other genres. At the moment, I believe they cater to the same 10 million people on each coast.
