Actually if you have played any of the previous games you would understand that the orcs came through a portal to conquer the world. They where aided in this by a human mage(forget his name). These orcs where all cursed by the Burning Legion(destroyers of worlds) to be thier absolute weapon in raising the Burning Legions leader.
They where defeated by the dwarf, human, elf alliance and the bands of orcs where broken and the curse was lifted off them that the burning leagion put on them.
In WC3 all the races work together to destroy the burning legion(cept for the undead that are allied with the burning legion).
I understand that WOW is after the time of WC3.
There are also 3 novels out that explain the lore a little better as well.
There is alot of lore there you just need to look for it. |
