My friend is like that .. he believes the soul of punk music is doing your own thing and not caring about what anyone else thinks, but then as soon as something becomes popular they're sellouts (read: AFI).
I recently saw him completely change the clothes he wears because everyone he hangs out with was wearing different clothes, too. Plaid is in, black suit pants are out!
It's all bullshit. But I know him well enough to know he does it for the chicks, which is a completely respectable aproach. |
