| yup, ffxi lost more people because of the japs having such a huge head start than anything I think, its just not fun to be so far behind people and then on top of that be forced to play with them when you cant even understand them.
Heh, I'm damn glad I got on a year late. There has been a year of testing and patchs (although it didn't need it anything like EQ did and still does), there are high level people to help you with quests (and they do) there are high level crafters to make useful items, there are people that have done the high level quests for items and spells so you have the option of simply buying instead of spending the time to do it yourself, and when you go auction some stuff there are people with money to actually buy it.
You're not "behind" anyone, the game isn't a race to the level cap in order to show you have the biggest MMORPG dick (and lack of a real life.) |
