| Really did enjoy the game, but after getting my Gladiator & Cleric into the 25+ lvl range and taking a look at the exp requirements for 30-40, I about gagged, but thought perhaps it'd be worth it. Then I saw 40-50. Had to walk away from the keyboard when I saw that as it appears that someone shit in my pants.
Anyways, it's fun, sure. A grind, sure. I didn't want to have 100% lvling through questing alone (remember I'm an old EQ1 player), so grinding out mobs was a welcome change. But ultimately when I got L2 flashbacks, I said "Fuckit" and canceled. I hear they're talking about upping the quest exp & mob kill exp, but that doesn't change the fact it's still an insane grind that helps to suck the life out of most North American people's desires to play the game. |
