Much of it doesn't even make sense. Ok the redneck guy hates black people. Yet he is drinking with a black person at the bar. A talking bear? Seriously? Is that supposed to be funny because it's a bear ... who talks? The short douchebag guy that lives with his mom was kind of entertaining but the entire cast seems very, very ill imagined and a walking black/southern stereotype.
It's no surprise the highlight of the show was when the entire family guy cast was together at the start. |
That's the biggest problem I had. His character sucks, too. I hate the voice and he isn't even a funny character. It seemed more like a one-off Family Guy episode that should have had humor due to the fact that it Family Guy (talking animal friend, two boys and one girl in the family, four friends hanging out at a bar) all over again, just with a black family. Fail in all ways.
