I don't get spoiled too much, usually when I hear a spoiler it actually entices me to read something even more. I usually get the same effect or more when I read the actual scene, I dunno, I'm a tragedy nerd and since most spoilers are tragedy-based I tend to just get excited and giddy if the scene is coming up, not "oh man I already know what happens".

There are definitely some things you do not want spoiled though, like Memento.
