| I'm only familiar with two clubs open on Friday in Deep Ellum, really. Panoptikon (at the eXcuses Cafe) caters more to the gothic/industrial crowd and plays a mix of etherial, industrial, and trance music, rather than pure techno/electronic.
The other one would be Lizard Lounge, which I frequent on other nights (when it's a different club called the Church), which plays more electronic/rave music, and is more frequented by club kids/ravers/frat boys. It may be more in line with what you guys are thinking.
In terms of alcohol, the drinks are the same price (about $4 for wells) but about 3x stronger at Panoptikon. |
