She's worried about switching from her leveling build(feral) to resto and not having any gear to heal instances or pvp. I assume there's some way we could rectify that pretty quickyl, I'm just not sure how to go about it. |
Start hitting WG as often as you can, the gear really isn't that expensive to buy but, depending on your faction's win/loss ratio, it can feel like it'll take forever. Don't neglect the other battlegrounds, though. The honor purchasable gear does not require any specific mark anymore which means that you can turn in 1 mark from each battleground (except WG) for a good chunk of honor then go shopping. Take advantage of that.
Also, the gear isn't the worlds greatest but the chest items (cloth or leather) and the weapon sold by the Kalu'ak quartermasters aren't bad places to start for your girlfriend when it comes to gathering caster gear. The chest only requires honored, the weapon revered and the faction is really easy to level. In fact, Wyrmrest and Kirin Tor both also have blue items that she should be able to buy easily enough without having to grind too much. Again, they're not amazingly wonderful and not epics but if she's starting with nothing then they shouldn't be overlooked. You could also start saving up for a Titansteel Guardian for when you hit 80, it's a nice weapon and shouldn't be insanely expensive.
