Some people do, I'm sure. Personally, I loved both Bad Boys movies, The Rock, and The Island. I have nothing against the way Bay uses the camera, and I certainly don't have a problem with action movies that exist primarily as an excuse to blow shit up in as spectacular way as possible.
Unfortunately, the Transformers movies are nothing like those ones I listed; instead they have the massive plot holes and general retardation of Armageddon mixed with the horrible dialogue of Pearl Harbor. The CGI is impressive from a technical standpoint, but when you actually sit down to watch it it's exactly as critics say: two unidentifiable heaps of metal flailing at each other.
In the end, I feel pretty much exactly the same about the Transformers movies as that guy from Topless Robots whose review/Q&A is linked above.
