| Sadly yeah, that's more or less the case. Every other game has either completely flopped or has deep seated design flaws that ruin it's enjoyability. WoW certainly isn't my ideal MMO, but it seems to be the only damn one out there that's more or less playable.
Just the fact that it's so popular is a big draw on it's own. WoW isn't just a game, it's a phenomenon, and as much as the community as a whole sucks ass, it's hard to avoid wanting to play when you constantly hear so much about it and all your friends are playing. |
