Err, I've never seen any scientific evidence that suggest a diety of any sort exists.
(Preface: I am an atheist.) I've always believed that what made religion beautiful for people is that it's entirely based on faith. Faith by definition is belief without logical reasoning. If there was evidence that 100% supported that a god existed then faith wouldn't be beautiful - because there wouldn't be any deep meaning in maintaining a god belief. Just like it doesn't mean anything to believe in gravity.
